Why This Session Matters

Dealing with SARS has become increasingly challenging, with more aggressive tactics and pressure-driven decisions affecting taxpayers across the board. This session is designed to equip you with the knowledge, strategies, and practical tools you need to protect yourself and respond effectively. Here’s a taste of what you’ll gain by attending:

01

Learn how to stand up to an overly aggressive SARS

Discover how SARS often “steps over the line” and what you can legally do when they overreach.

02

Understand SARS’ pressure-driven behaviour

Gain insight into why SARS is targeting taxpayers more aggressively—and how to anticipate their tactics.

03

Know the difference between assessments and decisions

Most taxpayers don’t understand which actions can be objected to and which can’t—this session shows you exactly how to tell the difference.

04

Unlock remedies even when objections are not allowed

Learn how to use powerful tools like Section 9 reviews and Section 11(4) notices to overturn SARS decisions that normally cannot be objected to.
